How do I provide input?

Some project tiles will have opportunities for input, whereas some tiles might be for sharing information.

Project tiles that have opportunities for sharing input will show these towards the bottom of the project tile and may come in a variety of forms including surveys, question and answer, forums and a few other formats.  The format(s) used will be based upon the type of feedback being requested.

In order to provide input for most projects, you will need to be signed in.

    • Return to the main page and click the 'Sign In' button

Why do I need to register on this site to provide input?

Some project engagement opportunities will require that site users register for the online platform.   By doing this:

    • it helps to minimize the chance of the public engagement being manipulated by someone who leaves many comments in support of a particular position; and
    • it allows us to update residents if there are changes about the consultation or the project.

If technology or accessibility considerations exist for participation, staff will assist with paper based versions of surveys, polls or similar engagement tools.

Can I use this site anonymously?

Users of this site choose their own screen name which provides anonymity when commenting and interacting with the site.

    What happens to my input?

All input and ideas are compiled and sent to the relevant project manager to inform the project and decision making.

Input provided online is used in collaboration with other consultation activities like open houses, public meetings pop-up events, workshops and other similar activities.

All comments you make through Let’s Talk Grimsby become public records.
