Grimsby Parks Master Plan
Welcome to the Town of Grimsby Parks Master Plan Community Consultation Hub!
The Town of Grimsby is preparing a Parks Master Plan that will assist Council and staff in managing the direction of parks, trail and waterfront assets and services through 2034. The Plan will define community needs and interests; identify where parks and park facilities should be located, when they will be needed, and how they will be funded. The firms thinc design, Mehak Kelly & Associates, and RFA Planning Consultants have been engaged to conduct the study, an essential part of which is community consultation.
Project Scope
The Plan will seek to:
Include extensive community consultation
- Comment on the current community profile and future population growth in relation to emerging trends and service levels
Articulate a vision and guiding principals for parks in Grimsby
- Assess needs and interests for parks, waterfront and outdoor recreation facilities in the Town
- Develop an implementation strategy with timelines and cost estimates

The Committee will be given the opportunity to ask questions and provide comments. The Draft documents being presented are available in the right-hand panel under the "documents" tab.
Following the presentation, the Plan will be finalized and submitted to Council for final approval.
The Final Draft Parks Master Plan will be presented to the Community Services Committee on February 24th, 2026 at 6:30 pm. The Committee will be given the opportunity to ask questions and provide comments. The Draft documents being presented are available in the right-hand panel under the "documents" tab.
Following the presentation, the Plan will be finalized and submitted to Council for final approval.

This is an opportunity for community members to review proposed goals and recommendations, ask questions, and share feedback that will help guide the future of our parks, trails, and outdoor recreational spaces. All residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and participate in this important planning process.

Time: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Location: Grimsby's Town Hall (160 Livingston Avenue)If you are unable to make it out to this event, there will be an opportunity to provide feedback on our draft plan which will be posted on the Let's Talk Grimsby page from January 26th-February 9th.
Your participation is valued, and your input will help ensure the Parks Master Plan reflects the needs and priorities of the community.
