Week of September 28: Main Street East and Elm Street Paving Update
Paving work on Main Street East is now complete, and through traffic was restored at approximately 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 29.
Crews are now focused on completing the remaining paving work on Elm Street, including sections near the Oak Street intersection and surrounding areas, as well as remaining cross trenches.
Based on current progress, daytime paving work on Elm Street is expected to continue through the remainder of this week.
What to expect
- One lane will remain open during daytime paving operations.
- Drivers should expect lane restrictions, slower traffic and delays while crews are working on Elm Street.
- Temporary access restrictions may be required as paving progresses, but access to local businesses and properties will be maintained where possible.
- Work will continue through the week, weather and site conditions permitting.
- See construction plan graphic below.
