The Age-Friendly Advisory Committee was established in April, 2023, to provide recommendations to Council regarding a strategy and action plan to elevate the profile, level of leadership, and engagement of older adults in the community. Additionally, recommendations are made on how to facilitate active lifestyles for all older adults, optimize health and wellness services for older adults, and to improve access and utilization of various services and supports.
We want to learn from the perspectives and experiences of older adults so together we can further strengthen the Town of Grimsby as an age-friendly community.
We would love to hear from you! Complete the short survey below by March 18th, 2024.
The survey will also be available at the Age-Friendly Symposium event, which is taking place on March 8th, 2024 at Mountainview Church. Please contact Krista Bowie for more information on the event.
